Waiting for a match...

I wanted to update everybody as to where we are on our adoption journey. We collected, notarized, and legalized about every document you could possibly imagine and sent it off to our agency. They have received it, and we are now waiting for a referral, which is the step where we are matched with the sweet children that will be OUR children. We are so very excited and a little impatient at times for
this step of our journey to happen. We just found out that IBESR (the adoption part of the Haitian government) is closed for now, while they re-visit and change some laws pertaining to adoption. Because of this, it will likely be between January and March 2013 that we receive our referral. We know that God's timing is perfect and trust His plan. Join us in prayer for our family and the Haitian side of our adoption journey. There are so many people working on our family's and the Haitian children's behalf who I know so appreciate your prayers.
